WHF 2004 Halloween Festival

 

 

The 2004 WHF Halloween party will be held at the community Clubhouse located at 136 Shelby Trace.  The festivities will start at 3:00 PM and conclude at 5 PM on October 31, 2004 so everyone can still go trick or treating and not miss a thing.

                                                                                                                                                

 

The Free Activities will Include:

Costume Contest for Adults and Children sponsored by Mary Pat Eldridge of Keller Williams Realty and Ramsey Elissa of DFW Funding Solutions.

Costume Parade for Children to age 12 years old
Prizes for all who enter Parade!

Costume Contest for ages 13-18 years old
Cash Prizes of $20 for "Most Original",
$20 Cash Prize for "Silliest/Funniest"

Costume Contest for adults
Cash Prize of $35 for "Most Original"
$35 Cash Prize for "Scariest"

Judging of the Costume Contests will begin immediately after
the Children's Costume Parade.

A Trackless Train Ride sponsored by the HOA.

HA HA the Clown sponsored by the HOA.

A Community Scavenger Hunt for ages 9 Yrs old and up sponsored by Shannon Smith (She).

A Bean Bag Toss sponsored by Amanda Carlson of Southern Living at Home.

A 3 Legged Race sponsored by Tanya Gray of Debt to Wealth, Inc.

There will be a Pie throwing contest (AIMing at the WHF Board of Director Members) $1.00 a throw

Go Fishing sponsored by Tana Dalton.

Scary Bingo in the Clubhouse sponsored by Mia Parker and Lisa Carter.

Hair painting sponsored by Gina LaGare of Southern Living at Home.

Gooey Grab sponsored by Connie Buescher of Mary Kay Cosmetics.

The will be a charge for food.  For a Hotdog, chips and a soda the charge will be $2.  Note all proceeds will go back into the WHF :General Fund".  The food is sponsored by Chad Kennedy of Sysco Food Services.

Hotdogs - $1.00

Chips - $0.50

Soda - $0.50

The Social Committee will be selling Magnetic "Car Ribbons" for automobiles in honor of and support of our U.S. Troops Overseas in the Middle East. Cost per ribbon is $5.00 each. Do you know a soldier who is currently serving overseas? If so, please contact us. We would like to send a Christmas care package to those soldiers using the profits raised by this fund-raising event

Murphy Police Department will be on-hand during the first hour and some of our local Fire-Fighters will be there the second hour. Thank you City of Murphy!!
